Night Ride – System Documentation

This repository contains the system-level documentation and references for the Night Ride open-source automotive modernization project.

It includes hardware design notes, software architecture, safety concepts, experiments, diagrams, and component datasheets used during development.

⚠️ Important note

These documents in the docs folder are written in and for Obsidian and are intended to be used as an Obsidian vault.

GitHub will not render everything correctly, including:

• Obsidian-style links
• Excalidraw diagrams
• embedded PDFs and local references

✅ Recommended usage

1. Clone this repository
2. Open the docs/ folder as an Obsidian vault
3. Use the documentation inside Obsidian for best results

🚗 Vehicle focus

Initial development and validation is performed on a Volvo V60. Most concepts are designed to be vehicle-agnostic and transferable.
